Here’s another ad from my collection. It was found  in a National Geographic magazine from 1946. Ads like this must’ve been pretty exciting at the time...

I love listening to old radio ads for mundane things like toothpaste and dish soap that brag about having a “new postwar formula” , it was heavily used at the time.

Then, there's the wartime motor oil ads that talk about how it's your patriotic duty to properly maintain your car, since it has to last you the duration.
